Laser skin treatment to turn back the anti-ageing clock
Ageing is a process we all go through in our lives, but that doesn’t make the experience any easier for us…
When sagging skin, fine lines, crow’s feet and various other types of wrinkles start to appear, there must be something to improve our skin and to make us feel younger again, mustn’t there?
Laser skin treatment is a known treatment in terms of turning back the ageing clock, available at Quinn Clinics- Bristol’s only independent Dr-led clinic registered with the CQC (Care Quality Commission).
This intense pulsed light (IPL) treatment offered by the company is a method of skin treatment that uses light based energy to improve the appearance of the skin.
The IPL treatment works by selectively heating and ‘damaging’ specific targets of the skin, without disrupting the surface. As an ideal treatment for those with sun-damaged skin or for those who suffer from the redness caused by Acne Rosacea, it not only helps to remove surface imperfections, but heats the skin to simulate collagen production as well.
Following skin cleansing, a gel is applied to the area that’s being treated, before the area is then cooled down after the treatment has taken place.
It is advisable to have at least three IPL treatments, spaced four weeks apart, in order for the best results to be achieved, as well as results that last and last.
