Are you tired of shaving, waxing or plucking?
Laser hair removal is a medically proven method of reducing unwanted hair permanently and Quinn Clinics offer the latest laser technology to blitz unwanted hair on the body and face with a choice of 2 advanced systems.
How does it work?
The laser produces a beam of concentrated light which is absorbed by the pigment in the hair follicles. It works by selectively heating up the hair follicle, which damages it and reduces its ability to regrow.

Laser Hair Removal Machines – Latest Technology
New Syneron Candela elōs Plus with Motif
The latest arrival at Quinn Clinics for summer 2014 is a pain-free laser hair removal system for fast and comfortable treatment.
The elōs Plus works on a very broad spectrum of hair type and skin colour combinations and is very effective for larger areas too, thanks to a larger spot area. This makes it a good choice for legs or popular mens’ areas such as back, shoulders or chest.
Lumenis Lightsheer DESIRE
The Lumenis Lightsheer DESIRE is a “gold standard laser” for outstanding results in permanent hair reduction.
The technology has been around for many years and is well studied. There is evidence to suggest that laser is superior to IPL or Intense Pulsed Light when it comes to permanent hair reduction. It is also superior to IPL for those with lighter hair.
This new improved system is an upgrade from the Lightsheer which many patients have already experienced. In fact, many of these have been so pleased that they returned to have more laser hair removal.
Laser Hair Removal Review
“I highly recommend both laser hair removal and Quinn Clinics… I love the service, I love the opening hours and I love the product.”
Anne started with facial laser hair removal, but like many patients, loved the results so much that she has moved on to having other areas treated too.
Laser Hair Removal FAQ
What are the possible side effects?
Immediately after the treatment, the area may be red and may feel slightly sunburnt. Some itching and swelling is normal. A test patch is performed before any treatment to assess how the skin will react and minimise the risk of unwanted effects, such as scabbing, bruising and increased or decreased pigmentation. Patients should avoid tanning the treated area for at least one month before and one month after their treatments.
What does it cost?
Prices start from £20 for individual treatments, depending on the area being treated. Most people need a course of 6 treatments to see lasting results. See our laser hair removal price list.
