Dr Rachael Thomas Joins Bristol Skin Clinic

Expanding Aesthetic Treatments Team

Dr Rachael ThomasQuinn Clinics has welcomed an additional doctor to the Bristol team to provide an extended range of treatments for the skin. 

Dr Rachael Thomas LLB LAW, MBBS has impeccable medical credentials and her training in aesthetics comes from the very best, as she was trained by Quinn Clinics founder, Dr John Quinn.

Rachael’s career began in law, as she qualified and practiced as a high net worth divorce lawyer. However, she was drawn back to her passion for medicine and retrained as a doctor, qualifying in 2016 in London.

Dr Rachael’s personal passion for skin care developed after having acne as a teenager and experiencing the benefit of good, appropriate treatments in improving her skin. She explains:

“I suffered from bad acne in my teens which really made me realise the impact good skin can have on your confidence, and I think that’s still true, whatever your age.”

Now working at Quinn Clinics in Bristol, Rachael offers popular injectable treatments including BOTOX® anti-wrinkle injections (botulinum toxin – anti-wrinkle treatment) and dermal Fillers (also known as facial fillers). She continues:

“I love the transformative impact of injectables – it’s so rewarding to boost someone’s confidence by helping them to look a better version of themselves.

Holistic approach to aesthetics

Having worked closely with Dr John Quinn and benefiting from his training, Rachael Thomas is keen to continue Dr Quinn’s holistic approach to aesthetics. She says:

“It’s so important to consider an individual’s concerns and think about the skin as a whole – what are the different options that can be offered to improve its appearance and texture and which are right for a particular person, at a particular time?

“Injectables are brilliant for giving fast results, enabling patients to see an improvement in wrinkles and fine lines, and I love the fact that with continued use Botox can be preventative, delaying the formation of lines or reducing their appearance over time.”

Dr Thomas is registered with the General Medical Council. Her work in aesthetics is carried out alongside ongoing commitments as an NHS doctor.
