LaseMD Treatment
LASEMD is a non-ablative treatment using a super-fine Thilium fibre laser.
This clever technology is designed to work without damaging the skin’s surface, yet it works within the skin in a number of ways.
The key benefit of LaseMD is that the laser treatment is combined with integrated delivery of cosmeceuticals to the deeper layers of the skin.
The laser creates microchannels within the skin which allow carefully chosen compounds of vitamins and other formulations to permeate the skin all the way to the bottom of the epidermis and the top of the dermis. These are trapped within the skin, adding instant hydration and releasing powerful ingredients to improve the skin’s condition.
There is very little discomfort, downtime or recovery involved; as the microchannels are created not by the laser itself but by vaporising water molecules within the skin. This makes it a safe treatment that is tolerated by a wide range of skin types and concerns.
The initial results show a healthy glow and more even skintone, but other results take a little longer to develop. The treatment triggers production of collagen in the skin which has a tightening effect that builds up over a period of a few weeks.
