Broadchurch Sarah Parish Ultherapy Facelift
Sarah Parish looks fantastic in the new series of Broadchurch. The actress has credited an Ultherapy non-surgical face lift with her toned and youthful face.
At 48, Sarah Parish was noticing the appearance of jowls and general loose facial skin (laxity), which was starting to be apparent when lighting for film.
Not keen on having surgery, Sarah chose Ultherapy ultrasound skin tightening treatment to lift and tone her face and jowls.
She has shared the experience with the Daily Mail, saying:
“I had treatment four months ago, and it’s still working now.
“The difference I feel in my skin is incredible; there’s definitely a tightening feeling and I’ve lost those little jowls that I had before.
“The texture and quality of my skin feels completely different and we’re only four months in so it’s just going to keep getting better and better.
“The reason I came to have Ultherapy was because I was noticing on camera it was becoming increasingly hard to light me in certain ways because I was losing laxity in my skin and becoming a little bit jowly, and slightly hollowed [in my cheeks].
“I wanted a non-invasive treatment, that didn’t involve scary needles or knives or anything scary.
“I’ve really, really noticed a difference, and it’s been much, much easier to just shove me in front of a camera and film me, rather than having lights being moved left, right and centre to negate certain hollows and nasties that I had before.”

How Does Ultherapy Work?
Ultherapy® is a non-surgical treatment which is carried out in clinic. There is no general anaesthetic or hospital stay to worry about.
The non-surgical face lift treatment uses micro-focused ultrasound waves which are applied to the skin using a special handpiece. The ultrasound penetrates the skin across the face and jowl area to stimulate the body’s natural healing and cell repair processes, boosting collagen production.
This is not an ‘instant’ treatment, as it takes a few weeks for the body to produce the new collagen in the skin, so the full results develop gradually for a natural look with firmer and tighter skin.
Replenishment of collagen smoothes out skin, reducing visible lines and wrinkles and tightens and tone the jawline and jowl area for a ‘lift’ effect without any injections or surgery.
Ultherapy treatment is available at Quinn Clinics based in Clifton (Bristol).
