Ultherapy Treatment Review

Advanced Ultrasound Treatment for Wrinkles

ultherapyThis review of Ultherapy treatment was provided by a 65-year old patient, who chose the procedure to tackle wrinkles and jowls.

“At nearly 65 years old I’ve had many years of difficulties with ironing out the wrinkles in my husband’s shirts. So the idea of climbing into the dryer for 10 minutes for my face and coming out wrinkle free sounds good but very painful.

“The only alternative was to seek help from Dr John Quinn at Quinn Clinics who recommended Ultherapy for me.

“The process was relatively quick, about an hour, with some discomfort to the jaw line only during the procedure, but no pain. I did have some bruising around the jaw line extending to my face and neck, the hues of which changed from blue to yellow over the following three weeks. The discomfort faded over the same period of time but I had never needed to take any medication for it.

“At six weeks, a friend asked what exercises I had been doing for such a visible reduction in ‘Jowls’, she had been the instigator with the remark about the ‘aging droopy jowls’

“…and now at 12 weeks not only are the jowls back where they should be but so are other aspects of my face. No down time and even the mild discomfort was so easy with astonishing results.

“Get him to show you the pictures.”

About Ultherapy

ultherapy facial treatmentsUltherapy® is an advanced skin rejuvenation procedure. The treatment is non-invasive and non-surgical, yet can produce dramatic smoothing and lifting results.

Ultherapy® uses micro-focused ultrasound waves which penetrate the skin to stimulate the body’s natural healing and cell repair processes, boosting collagen production.

The procedure can be used all over the face but unlike other options, is especially effective at tightening and toning the jawline and jowl area, which tends to become slack with age.

The overall lifting effect also brings with it smoother skin with fewer visible wrinkles.

This is a long-term treatment as it takes a number of weeks for results to develop. This is because the body’s reaction to produce collagen builds up over a period of time.

Ultherapy treatment is available at Quinn Clinics based in Clifton (Bristol) and Greenwich (London).

Bespoke combination programmes are available, using Ultherapy together with cosmetic injections in order to get an improved and more comprehensive result.
