AMWC Aesthetic & Anti-Aging Medicine World Congress
Aesthetic & Anti-Aging Medicine World Congress
Grimaldi Forum, Monaco
Dr John Quinn and Patient Services Manager Sue Blake attended the 13th Aesthetic & Anti-Aging Medicine World Congress in order to see the latest non-surgical equipment and launches, including Ultherapy which is due to arrive at Quinn Clinics in the coming weeks.
The AMWC conference took place in Monte-Carlo between 26 to 28 March 2015 under the High Patronage of H.S.H. Prince Albert II of Monaco.
The event organisers explain the purpose of the conference:
Over the last 13 years AMWC has played a key role in underpinning the scientific understanding of global anti-aging management. This mission is still very important today and the congress program addresses how to achieve effective aging prevention by comprehensively examining approaches in aesthetics (dermatology and surgery) for the external appearance while applying anti-aging medicine for internal well-being.
AMWC 2015 includes presentations by experts in the field of Aesthetic Dermatology, Plastic & Aesthetic Surgery and Preventive & Anti-Aging Medicine as well as scientific sessions, panels, and opportunities for hands-on learning experiences.
In addition, it is an opportunity for professionals to share new understandings, practical tips and tricks and to see emerging technologies and live demonstrations. Over 9,000 delegates attend and over 300 international companies exhibit.
However, discerning doctors are aware that not all technology is worth investing in. As Dr Quinn quipped:
Great few days at #AMWC2015. Lots of gadgets that I won’t be buying! Gotta love the cars though.
