    What happens when you come for an acne consultation? 

    The first step in your acne journey at Quinn Clinics is to talk to one of our expert acne treatment advisors. Depending on your concern and the type of treatment you would like to explore, we will direct you to our resident Dermatologist or Dr. John Quinn, our clinic founder and laser expert.  

    MEET JO & MAGDA OUR Experienced Skin Therapists

    As part of your consultation, you will meet one of our two experienced therapists, Magda and Jo. They work alongside our doctors and dermatologists to support you through your acne journey. After your consultation with Dr. Quinn or the Dermatologist, they will take detailed Visia skin analysis photos, carry out a laser patch test, and talk to you in more detail about our leading acne treatments, Aviclear and laser Genesis.

    Laser Genesis for Acne  

    Laser Genesis is a non-invasive treatment that is gentle but effective in treating Acne and the after-effects of Acne Scarring. 

    We use this industry-leading laser by Cutera® to help manage and control Acne and improve the skin’s overall health. We often recommend a course of Laser Genesis Treatment as an additional line of defence against Acne in patients taking prescription medicine.  

    How does it treat Acne? 

    It works by heating the layers of the upper dermis, well below the skin’s surface. This stimulates the release of collagen and allows blood to run smoothly through capillaries, improving circulation. This enhanced circulation encourages the reduction of redness and postinflammatory hyperpigmentation caused by acne. 

    The stimulation of new collagen production can improve scarring, fine lines and uneven skin tone and reduce large pore size, which is often associated with problematic skin.

    Results
