ULTHERAPY LIGHT NEW & EXCLUSIVE TO QUINN CLINICS

Unique to Quinn Clinics in Bristol, we are now offering a light version of our leading skin-tightening treatment.

What is Ultherapy Light?

As the name suggests, Ultherapy Light is a milder version of the original Ultherapy treatment. It delivers ultrasound energy to shallower depths in the skin, providing more subtle lifting and tightening effects. We often recommend Ultherapy Light to patients with milder skin laxity or those seeking a gentler approach. It may also be preferred for maintenance treatments or for younger patients who do not yet require the intensity of the full Ultherapy treatment.

Combining Ultherapy with other treatments

We see fantastic results when we combine anti-ageing injectables, which replace the lost volume in the face, with Ultherapy, which lifts and tightens the lower area. Ultherapy to the brow, alongside Botox injectables, is a winning combination, working together to lift and open the eye area. We can also combine it with other procedures for even better results, for example, if someone has a deposit of fat under the chin. We often recommend a course of Coolsculpting alongside Ultherapy to freeze, dissolve, or destroy fat cells then later apply the Ultherapy to tighten them.

Am I a good candidate for Ultherapy Light?

  • Yes, if you have specific areas of concern, such as jowls and chin rather than full-face laxity or loss of volume
  • You may not be ready for a full face of treatment
  • You may be in your late 30s or 40s and are starting to notice a loss of volume and some skin laxity.

What is the procedure like?

The procedure takes 45 minutes to one hour, and there is no downtime. It involves first applying ultrasound gel and then going over the treatment area in three passes at different depths: two millimetres and one millimetre. The deeper you go, the deeper you are into the muscle and the more contraction you get.

What is the difference between Ultherapy & Ultherapy Light?

Ultherapy and Ultherapy Light are both non-invasive procedures that use ultrasound technology to lift and tighten the skin, but they differ in terms of their intensity and targeted effects.

Ultherapy

Is the original version of the treatment. It delivers focused ultrasound energy to deeper layers of the skin, stimulating collagen production and causing more significant lifting and tightening effects. Ultherapy is typically and more intensely used to address moderate to severe skin laxity in areas such as the face, neck, and décolletage.

Ultherapy Light

Delivers ultrasound energy to shallower depths in the skin, providing more subtle lifting and tightening effects. We can target specific areas, such as the cheek and chin, to stimulate collagen production, resulting in firmer, more youthful-looking skin.

As we mentioned earlier, we often recommend this alongside our anti-ageing injectable treatments as a complementary treatment that stimulates the body’s natural collagen source.

How Quickly Will I See Results?

Some patients can see results quickly—even immediately, particularly if you’re someone with sagging skin or jowls. The full benefits typically become more apparent over the course of several weeks to months as the collagen-building process continues.

How Long Do Ultherapy Results Last?

You only need one session for results, and it lasts for a year. Patients often require a yearly top-up to maintain the results.

Downtime:

One key advantage of Ultherapy is its minimal downtime. Following treatment, you may experience temporary redness, swelling, and minor discomfort, which typically resolves between 3-5 days.
