Campaign To Open COVID Vaccination Centre

Dr John Quinn, founder and clinical director of Quinn Clinics, is volunteering and campaigning for the clinic to help in the drive for coronavirus vaccinations in the Bristol area. 

While the clinic is closed for normal skin treatments during lockdown period, the GMC registered doctor has offered the facility and the services of his medical staff to assist in delivering COVID-19 vaccinations.

In a personal post on Facebook, he explained:

“The writing has been on the wall for some time about the necessity for another lockdown. Last week I volunteered both myself *and* my CQC registered clinic to help with the upcoming vaccination programme

“I am a doctor. I am here and I want to help!!!

“I call on every doctor in the UK, with a CQC registered medical clinic to do the same! Injections are what we do! We are set up to do this with minimal alteration to our existing practices.

“Please share this with anyone that may be able to help. Lets stay safe. Let’s help the NHS.

“LETS GET VACCINATED!!”

So far the response from the CQC hasn’t been positive, but John is optimistic and passionate about helping the NHS in this time of unprecedented crisis, having the skills and the facility to be able to make a difference.

BBC Bristol are planning to run a story about his offer and John is hopeful that the additional exposure will help to break through the red tape and enable him to help. We’ll keep this website updated as the situation changes.
