Dr John Quinn has confirmed his decision to close Quinn Clinics and The May Wellness Centre due to Coronavirus COVID-19, in the best interests of the health of our patients and staff.
He posted on Facebook:
“To all my patients, colleagues and friends
“It appears that the government is finally taking the COVID-19 outbreak seriously. We are being told to avoid all non-essential contact. I have thus taken the difficult decision to temporarily close the clinic, effective immediately.
“I do not do this lightly.
“This illness is truly a once in a lifetime threat to our society. It’s potential impact cannot be underestimated. Stay well and please take care.

It seems likely that for the vast majority of people, COVID-19, the novel Coronavirus, will be mild and self limiting. However, people are dying and this represents an unprecedented, immediate health concern for our entire population
The virus is most likely spread to people who are nearby (within 2 metres). It is also possible that someone may become infected by touching a surface, object or hand of an infected person that has been contaminated with respiratory secretions and then touching their own mouth, nose or eyes. We strongly recommend you maintain the highest possible standards of hand hygiene and tissue use at home.
