100 Million Milestone for Anti-Ageing Product

BOTOX® (Botulinum toxin type A) is the world’s most popular non-surgical treatment. After 30 years of aesthetic and medical use, manufacturer Allergan plc has announced that is has now produced over 100 million vials of the product – 2 significant milestones. 

BOTOX® has a host of aesthetic and therapeutic uses.

The most popular and well–known is its use for aesthetic anti-ageing treatments, tackling the signs of ageing in 3 main areas:

• Glabellar lines – those vertical lines that appear between the eyebrows especially when frowning
• Forehead lines – horizontal wrinkles that are even more noticeable with eyebrow movement
• Crow’s feet or laughter lines around the eyes, especially when smiling

BOTOX® Anti-Ageing Injections

However, BOTOX® has a host of medical uses as well.

Quinn Clinics also offer BOTOX® treatment for sweat reduction or hyperhidrosis – a condition which causes misery and embarrassment for patients not only in the warmer months but year round. Injecting botulinum toxin into the underarm area dries up the excess sweat problem within a few days and gives patients months of relief.
