BCAM Win Industry Body Award
British College of Aesthetic Medicine
BCAM has been announced as winner of the Aesthetics Awards “Association/Industry Body of the Year” for 2015.
On behalf of BCAM, Dr Beatriz Molina said:
“Having BCAM win for the first time ever as Association/Body of the Year is an unbelievable feeling.”
“For many years we have been trying to raise the standards of cosmetic medicine and we work really hard in the background and know we’re in a small group, but we’re really trying hard. To suddenly be recognised is a great feeling.”
The Aesthetics Awards celebrates the very best of the cosmetic treatments industry.
The awards was voted for by Aesthetic Journal readers as well as a panel of judges and voters praised ‘fantastic educational initiatives supporting excellence in practice’ as well as ‘great support network’.
Sponsors of the award NeoCosmedix Europe Ltd were pleased with teh choice. MD Vernon Otto said:
“We are delighted that BCAM won as we are avid supporters of the body and we have had a great year because of the support we have received from the BCAM conference.”
The BCAM conference was held in September and Quinn Clinics founder and Aesthetic Doctor Dr John Quinn led a demonstration of the lower face, explaining the anatomy and the latest techniques for rejuvenating the area to colleagues within the aesthetic treatments industry.
Dr Quinn is one of just 3 practitioners listed on the BCAM website for Bristol. All BCAM members are General Medical Council (GMC) Registered doctors with a licence to practice medicine and must meet the BCAM criteria of application to use the initials MBCAM issued annually. Members must also attend regular educational and scientific meetings and membership can be revalidated through BCAM every 5 years. For more information see bcam.ac.uk.
Quinn Clinics was established in 2006 and offers a full range of cosmetic, medical and laser skin treatments at its two clinics.
As well as anti-ageing cosmetic injections performed by the clinic’s owner and founder, Dr John Quinn, the clinic can offer the latest laser technology including IPL, laser, CO2 fractional laser and radiofrequency treatment.
