Does Sharon Osbourne’s Face have the X-Factor?

Fans have been delighted to see Sharon Osbourne back on Saturday night X-Factor. Her one-liners and brutal honesty make for great entertainment. Equally, viewers have been fascinated by her face, speculating on what treatments have contributed to her smooth complexion and whether she may have gone a little too far.

Sharon Osbourne is no stranger to the idea of cosmetic surgery and treatments and has previously been open about her weight loss with a gastric band, which has subsequently been removed. She even had botox injections live on her own show in 2006 and has also had a tummy tuck, eye lift, face lift and breast lift totalling a reported £300k.

However, in 2012, Sharon said she had decided not to have any further cosmetic surgery after recovering from colon cancer and undergoing a double mastectomy.

Yet the changes in her facial appearance over the last few weeks would indicate some cosmetic, non-invasive treatments; and as X-Factor is filmed over a few weeks, the changes are quite evident as the episodes screen.

In the early episodes of X-Factor, critics said Sharon’s face looked puffy and slightly lop-sided, indicating an excessive use of dermal fillers to plump out the face and lips.

However, in more recent episodes, this is less apparent and considering her 60 years, her skin appears quite taut and tight.

Natural-Looking Anti-Ageing

Sharon’s journey highlights the importance of having just the right amount of treatment at the right time.

Over-use of dermal fillers can look ‘odd’ and excessive botox can lead to the ‘frozen look’. Fortunately, the advantage of cosmetic treatments is that they are temporary and results will fade.

However, when used carefully and precisely by an experienced doctor, these cosmetic treatments can provide a subtle, natural anti-ageing effect immediately.

A spokesperson for Quinn Clinics explained:

“At Quinn Clinics, all cosmetic injections are personally carried out by Dr John Quinn. He specialises in anti-ageing skin treatments and has treated literally thousands of patients over the years. He even teaches other practitioners and speaks at international conferences on his methods and techniques.

Patients have nick-named him ‘Dr Feelgood’ for his natural-looking yet effective rejuvenation results.

For those that would prefer to avoid the idea of needles altogether, there are also a range of laser treatments as well as micro-needling and chemical peels; all of which provide a fresher complexion with fewer lines and wrinkles by stimulating the skin’s own renewal processes.”
