Ultherapy is the advanced skin tightening treatment which uses ultrasound in order to penetrate deeply into the skin in order to kick-start healing and rejuvenation by boosting collagen production. Not only does it tighten the skin and improve wrinkles, but crucially, Ultherapy can also lift and tone the skin, addressing areas of sagginess which can be particularly ageing.
Kellie reports her experience in her own words.
I have been seeing Dr Quinn for treatments for over a year now and having botox, peels, filler & eye laser treatments with him and have been very happy with his level of care and his skill with the needle.
I had been noticing some loosening around my neck and jowls, which I wanted to fix, however I wasn’t keen on surgery just yet.
Dr Quinn had mentioned Ultherapy and I was quite excited about the treatment as I was looking for something non-surgical that would lift and tighten my lower face but I didn’t have time for much downtime as I had my son’s wedding to go to in a month’s time and couldn’t afford to take time off work, so Ultherapy sounded like a good option for me and I trusted Dr Quinn as he had always exercised caution and care with me in the past.
As for the treatment Dr Quinn, professional as always, taking his time to analyse my face and mark out the areas he would focus on. He talked me through the process beforehand and put me at ease. When he started the treatment it felt like short but intense pulses, stronger than any other laser I have had but was bearable.
Dr Quinn was very understanding and suggested we change to another area and come back to the area when I needed a break. Procedure took about 2 hours, as Dr Quinn didn’t want to rush me and I was able to go out with my friend to a late lunch straight afterwards. I did develop a bruise on one side of my jaw but I could cover it up with some concealer for work.
My friend and I noticed an immediate tightening around my jawline and jowls which I loved as this was the area that I was most concerned with.
About a week later the bruise had subsided my face felt a bit numb still, however this was explained to me as normal at the time of the treatment. My lower face feels firmer and my jawline is much more defined already.
I attended my son’s wedding about 3 weeks after the treatment, my face still feels a bit numb, and my friends and family at the wedding all commented how youthful I looked, however I have been told the full results won’t be seen until 3-6 months from the treatment.
I am very happy with the treatment and cannot wait until the full effects are seen in a few months time. I wouldn’t trust anyone else now to do my treatments and I highly recommend Dr Quinn.
